Lost my dear someone that day,
The grey sky with no sunray
A thousand tears I cried,
Listening with my heart I tried
Knew that the life is so unfair,
When my screams nobody did hear
Slept with my pillow mushy and wet,
That was the final time we again met
He held my hand and took me around,
Soundless graveyard where none I found
I thought them sleeping underneath,
But nothing remains after the death
Standing and weeping at a grave,
Neither makes you dear nor a brave
Stop those tears which tie us back,
Release easy, death has no comeback!
We got it late or might be our fate,
As our spirits depart, who remains a mate?
Separated we are with no mercy left,
Powerful death is the final rest
Those last awaited hours of mine,
Looking for someone humanly divine
Unfulfilled hungers all humans in hold,
Vanishes in an eye blink somebody told
Why not share the smiles better?
Rather than showing our grief later!
Earlier we share the strongest trust,
Keeping our love clear and soft
Immense warmth and compliments together,
Better than the lines of sympathy later
Singing my praises when I’m off,
Might be real or just a show off
Live the life being down-to-earth,
Simplify grudges to make it worth
No individual prominence, but for each
More practical than the ‘Rest in Peace’!
