THE SILENCE OF ‘SHE’
– the story of an introverted girl.

They see the innocent she,

Calm and quiet,

Staying on her own, wondering about the seas.

But she is the ruler, she is the queen of her own life and she is not mean.

They appreciate who speaks and those who are loud.

They ignore her because she’s silent but she let them vanish like a cloud.

Cause she knows the difference,

Of being loud and being confident.

Yet they seem to mistake it because they receive more compliments.

She’s strong but she’s exhausted

Living in the world full of hate

Where all values extroverted tendencies,

No one values the silent charm

That’s charming out of the crowd, centered inside the chest between two arms.

If only she could make them believe silence has power,

And the power brings so much peace that people work to feel it for hours.

Only if they could hear the voice of silence and recognize the soul filled with patience.

Enough of the sorrow, she happily flies and never gives up with hundreds of her tries.

Ask her how it feels to be left out, ask her how it’s like to live in doubt.

The feeling of being alone, out of the group just staring at her phone.

Even so she is not sad.

She cherishes her solitude and with her unique ideas, she is glad.

She knows her worth, the purpose of her birth.

She rather enjoys songs calmly in her heart.

She loves peace more than people,

Loves staring at the sky that is some days purple.

There are lots of hard things that she has learned and she only lives in her own beautiful world.

Yes, she is antisocial. She has less friends,

Yet, she is happy with her small group and never pretends.

What keeps her going is she believes in herself

Loving the way she is and building her own self.

More a giver and less a taker, with just a simple smile, she is her own life saver.

Although, they see the innocent she, calm and quiet,

Staying on her own and wondering about the seas.
