Together we can overcome 

By looking at how our government is planning smooth processes along with its implementation in order to combat the current pandemic, I must say Bhutan being a tiny country with no advanced medical technicalities, is the epitome to most other countries. Bhutan, under the guidance of our Great Monarch, His Majesty and the current ruling Government is doing an excellent job by taking into consideration the minor details and finding solutions for the safety of the people in the country as well as those residing in foreign countries.

COVID- 19, the outbreak which originated at the end of 2019 in Wuhan,China has now affected almost every country both directly and indirectly. With its instant transmission and death toll increasing everyday, everybody has started panicking and the people of Bhutan are no different. The actions taken by the government to this was amazingly farsighted. The Government instantly closed the schools and institutes in Capital cities after an  American tourist was first tested positive for COVID-19.

The actions taken were quick and effective. Moreover, the people who were involved with the first case were all quarantined.

I’m pretty sure no big and developed countries would’ve taken care of the situation like our Government has done.

And later when the situation is not getting any better, the Government became concerned about the people who were currently studying or working in foreign countries. 

With the help of the Government, many Bhutanese can return to their country and are being quarantined for 21 days with free lodging and meals. And I personally feel that Bhutan at its best can fight back this pandemic.
