IMPRESS
We are born in a world where everyone is trying to
impress everyone. The problem with this is we neither impress
anyone nor do we impress ourselves.
We aren’t born to live up to other people’s expectations of us, for if
we spend our lives trying to please everyone around us, we would
be sure to live in all kinds of misery.
We can be kind without being a people pleaser, it is very possible.
Because when we are kind without trying to impress anyone, our
kindness is from our heart. It is truthful, and what is based out of
truth is always precious regardless of how it may look to people
who don’t understand.
It is a strange thing to see how people crumble at the words of a
person who hasn’t walked a mile in their shoes. Never be distracted
by the opinions of others. Opinions are the lowest form of human
knowledge: it requires no understanding, no compassion and no
value.
Every minute we spend trying to prove our worth is one minute
wasted. And time is a very valuable thing. This is your life my friend,
